Post about posting prayers

some might have noticed that I stopped posting prayers for a while. The reason has been that my prayers got a little personally, and I'm not comfortable sharing them online.

I started posting them because I found a lack of pagan prayers online. Though it's not a common habit for pagans to pray, I still found it a little disappointing when I was searching for everyday pagan prayers.

Many other religions have scores of prayers online, and countless more in print. Why is it that pagans have so few?

Call for Aid to Goddess Brighid

Holy Maiden Mother Brighid,
Radiant Flame of Gold.
I call upon you in this hour of need,
And ask that you aid me in every way.

Bless me with the strength to overcome all obstacles,
And infinite power to overwhelm all my enemies.
Guide me to the path of victory with your light,
And heal me of my wounds and weariness.

Great Mother, I ask most of all,
The knowledge and wisdom I need to see the truth.
Let my victory be one of righteousness,
And help me keep the road to triumph straight.

Thanking Goddess Brighid for lighting the way to happiness and abundance

Goddess Brighid of the Green Mantle,
please accept my offerings of words to you.
Thank you for lighting the path of happiness,
guiding me through life with your wisdom.

I ask that you continue to shower me with blessings,
gifts of love, happiness and abundance.
Fill me with your mercy and compassion Mother,
and allow me to share this joy to the deserving.

Keep me strong and free my Goddess,
my beautiful Lady of the Flames.
May my life be the wick of your sacred fire,

thank you for showering me with blessings everyday.

Great Goddess Brighid,
Lady of the Healing Waters.
I come before you a weary traveler,
to wash away the ills of my journey.

Blessing me with your gentle hands,
cure my wounds with your sacred waters.
Let me rest within your peaceful grove,
before sending me onward in life.

Show me the way Mother,
to the warmth of your fires.
Guide me with your brilliant light,
so that I will always be on your path.

Holy Maiden Mother Brighid,
radiant flame of gold.
I thank you for blessings past,
and thank you again for blessings present.

I humbly ask for blessings to come,
for joy, happiness and abundance,
in the week that lays before me.

to thread the path of success and good fortune,
for my family, my loved ones and myself.

thank you for these times between things,

I place into your hands,

which you have placed into my life
